Waterfowl Hunt

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for a fantastic hunting experience. For many years I had dreamed of going on one of those fantastic goose hunts that you always see on Ducks Unlimited television or read about in various hunting magazines. The experience you and your team provided us was absolutely world class and exceeded my every expectation.

The hunts were amazing! Every duck hunter knows the first rule of waterfowl hunting is; you have to be where the birds want to be. You guys (and gal) nailed it every time. You put us absolutely "where the birds wanted to be" every day. I believe I saw more birds in three days of hunting with you than I have seen in my entire life, and the best part was, they were in our face.

The Venture North guides did a great job. They were friendly, patient, helpful and more than willing to let us be selective in our quest for the best shots. Barry was especially helpful and even gave us some great calling tips between rounds of shooting.

The food and accommodations were wonderful. The lodge was a perfect blend of rustic cabin, family restaurant and five star hotel. The food was delicious and amazingly, always there waiting for us. It reminded me of a cruise ship - delicious, plentiful and always available. I would definitely recommend future hunters bring their spouses for a relaxing retreat.

Your service was first class. You made everything exceptionally easy and user friendly. Your guide service experience made everything from getting through customs and purchasing hunting license, to bird packaging and transportation extremely easy.

Whitetail Deer Hunt

I've bowhunted for deer twice with Venture North. Saw 6 bucks over 145 in 5 days. Cold, cold weather. No shots, but just might have been the best 5 days of deer hunting I've ever had. Two years later hunted south of Edmonton in September. Missed one good buck, but saw a typical 6x6 that is the largest buck I have ever seen in the wild … Kevin is honest and works hard for his hunters.
